About Us

“That was so much fun! Can we do that again in one more sleep?”
A. Benn, 4 years old

The goal of Children’s Showcase is to enrich the lives of children and their families by exposing them to a wide variety of performances including dance, music, storytelling, theatre, juggling, mime, comedy and magic.

Our season runs from September to May and consists of four or five shows, sold as a series.

Our target audience ranges in age from 3 to 12 years old, although our shows generally appeal to a much wider age range. In keeping with the short attention span of the younger members of the audience, shows are approximately one hour in duration.

Children’s Showcase is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing professional quality performing arts to the South Okanagan. Founded in 1983, Children’s Showcase is the longest-running childrens' entertainment series in the province of BC.

We aim to keep admission prices low so that performances are accessible to as many people and families as possible.

“My favorite show was the magician, John Kaplan. I liked when he cut himself in half with a rope.”

A. Eggert, 8 years old .
